If there is anything I will always want, it is steak. Especially if it’s cooked well, which seems hard for some restaurants. I also do not understand people who go to places like Angus Steakhouse… in Leicester Square – Sorry but I’m judging you hard if you step foot in that place.
Our friend Joe who moved to Canada a year or two ago has been back for a little while for a family wedding, so we planned a dinner with him and our friend Tom and his girlfriend Sara.
For starters we shared the Crispy Five Pepper Squid, Smoked Tamworth Spare Ribs and Smokehouse Rillettes. All pretty damn good!
For mains I had the Rib Fillet steak that had been dry-aged for 35 days withWilted Lettuce with Peas and bacon, pork gravy and skin on fries and chick salt. Now we need to talk about this chicken salt… I think I died and went to heaven – it’s pretty much crispy salty chicken skin shopped up on top of the chips. TASTE SENSATION. The other amazing thing about this main – the bone marrow that comes with the steak! Melt in your mouth – it was amazing spread on top of the steak.
I would defiantly recommend coming here. Great atmosphere, waiters and waitresses that obviously love what they do and deliver great service, stylish design, great wine selection and of corse amazing food.
Let me know if you go here and what your thoughts are.
